    Lay You Down

"A sophisticated master-class in the art of Americana roots..." Lay You Down features 10 original Headwater songs and a rip-roaring version of Fred Eaglesmith's "Freight Train." Addressing themes of love, loss and mortality, this strong sophomore record is full of ghostly steel guitar and beautiful harmony singing. "Think Great Lake Swimmers with a greater sense of momentum - 4/5" - Maverick Magazine (UK)

    My Old Friend

When long-time friends Jonas Shandel and Matt Bryant set out to record their band Headwater’s first album, they had between them 8 songs, a banjo, a mandolin, a guitar and 2 voices. By the time it was released they had a full time 5-piece band, critical acclaim, slots in major music festivals and of course the album itself - appropriately titled, My Old Friend. If you could drop that into the site it would be mucho appreciado. I don't think that's a saying - but hey, it works for me, anyhow.
