• We're back, Baby.

  I am pleased to announce that Headwater is back at it again!  We are in fine form, and firing on all cylinders!  Over the weekend, I arrived back from San Francisco, Patrick arrived from Nelson and Jonas arrived from Austria (Matt was the only one holding down the fort there for awhile).  We quickly advanced to the BC Ferries, where we performed a wonderful busking session on our way over to Saltspring Island.  And we rocked the Fulford Harbour Hall like never before!  It was a full house and a very warm crowd who gave us a great welcome, and a standing ovation and an encore at the end.

  It was a really emotional high of a day, having the band back together again, goofing around as usual and having a whale of a time playing music.  We all missed each other so much and it is so heartening to be back at it again!

• Just about there!

  Well we're just about done our 90 day hiatus as Jonas is nearly through enjoying the splendours of continental Europe.  It's been a bloody difficult three months, and I for one am very, very excited to be getting back to playing!

  Conveniently, we just happen to have a show on the 1st of March, at Fulford Hall on Saltspring Island for the SaltSpring Folk Club!

  We played a wedding on Saltspring in the Summer (our first Jewish wedding!) and had an absolutely amazing time doing it.  So we hope we'll see lots of familiar faces smiling up at us from the crowd. 

  So another exciting season of playing is just about upon us, and we're all extremely happy to be back at it!
